SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE:

The Leasing Consultant should have, as a minimum, demonstrable and verifiable skills associated with leasing, clerical, and human relations. The Leasing Consultant should be proficient on a typewriter, calculator and possess good telephone skills. The Leasing Consultant must be people oriented, self motivated, exhibit a positive personality and be sales motivated.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Leasing Consultant is directly responsible for the leasing of apartments. In addition, the Leasing Consultant will develop and improve in the skills and knowledge of resident relations and leasing, keep abreast of Fair Housing guidelines and follow accordingly. The Leasing Consultant must effectively utilize sales skills to achieve and maintain optimum occupancy via the leasing of units and renewal of existing leases. The Leasing Consultant must comply with established company philosophies, policies and procedures - this is essential for complete and continued success. The Leasing Consultant must exhibit loyalty, honesty, moral integrity and ethical conduct. The Leasing Consultant must be in constant contact with and work as a team member with the Property Administrator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Property Management: 1 year (Preferred)
